The organization has played a pivotal role in transforming Indianapolis into a premier destination for sports, earning the title of the city “Where Champions are Crowned.” The Indiana Sports Corp has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of citizens, particularly the youth, and continues to be a foundational civic organization for the growth and prosperity of Indianapolis and the state of Indiana. The Event Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in the planning and coordination of events related to the 2026 NCAA Men's Final Four. This position will involve developing and executing events leading up to and during the tournament, serving as a key member of the Local Organizing Committee. The role is a full-time non-exempt position with an end date of April 30, 2026. The coordinator will work closely with the Tournament Director, Indiana Sports Corp staff, and other Local Organizing Committee members to ensure a shared vision for the event. This includes frequent collaboration with the NCAA to ensure that all projects and events are completed satisfactorily. The coordinator will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with NCAA and ISC partners and sponsors, managing budgets related to events and projects, and providing updates to the Tournament Director. Additionally, the coordinator will lead the planning and execution of monthly meetings with the NCAA and key partners, assist with Local Organizing Committee meetings, and participate in warehouse logistics and management. The role also includes assisting with Fan Jam promotions and other NCAA and ISC projects as requested.
