About the position

The Event & Operations Coordinator at The Tie will support office management and event logistics, collaborating closely with the Events Manager, Chief of Staff, and Marketing Team. This role is designed for an organized and detail-oriented individual eager to enhance operations and contribute to high-profile events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as conferences, webinars, and client events.
  • Work with the Events Manager on sourcing venues, vendors, and materials.
  • Coordinate event-related meetings, calls, and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support attendee and speaker registration, communications, and updates.
  • Liaise with marketing on event materials, branding, and design.
  • Assist with event setup, display management, and teardown to create an attractive and inviting space.
  • Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist with general office operations and serve as the primary point of contact for building management.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office communications.
  • Maintain the company intranet and assist with ad-hoc projects at the direction of the Chief of Staff.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and timelines for corporate access clients to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
