We are seeking a skilled and experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing event logistics, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless event execution from start to finish. The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows and events. This role requires a candidate with a proven track record in the live event industry, with extensive knowledge of event operations, logistics, and ideally warehouse management. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex event requirements, overseeing staff, and ensuring successful event outcomes. In this position, you will oversee all aspects of event logistics, including warehouse labor needs, equipment needs, show site labor needs, equipment rental, and facility coordination. You will ensure that all event requirements are met on time, within budget, and to Total Expo's high standards. Supervising event setup, execution, and teardown will be a key responsibility, as well as promptly addressing any issues that arise. You will also coordinate and schedule fleet maintenance as required, along with on-site equipment rental needs, while identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvements. Additionally, you will manage and schedule warehouse staff to support event preparation, coordinating with other departments for scheduling purposes. You will be responsible for the preparation, storage, and transportation of event materials, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in logistics. Monitoring warehouse operations to maintain a high standard of organization and safety will be crucial, as will implementing operational policies and procedures to increase workflow efficiency. You will maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities and schedules. Budget management will also be a significant part of your role, as you will develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial efficiency. Leading and supporting event staff, providing clear direction and training as necessary, will be essential to foster effective communication and teamwork among all event and warehouse personnel. Compliance and safety are paramount, and you will conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to safeguard staff, adhering to all OSHA regulations for the warehouse. Finally, you will conduct evaluations of each event to assess performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement, preparing detailed reports on event success, budget adherence, and logistical efficiency.
