We are looking for an experienced photographer for our Photo-Op booth #2 at our upcoming sports collectibles convention. The job is for a three-day sports convention from November 22-24 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The Photo-Op Booth #2 photographer's job description includes taking posed photographs of the athletes and celebrities attending the convention with fans who have purchased a Photo-Op ticket. We expect around 65 athletes and celebrities to attend the event over the weekend, with varying numbers of photo-op tickets sold for each guest. Some lines may have as few as 2-3 tickets, while others could exceed 100 tickets. Due to the high volume of guests and the limited time available for each photo-op, we have a staff of four workers at each photo-op booth. This team includes a computer operator to ensure the images are processed correctly, a front desk staff member to take tickets and prepare customers, an exit staff member to assist customers after their photo has been taken, and a floater to provide additional support wherever needed. The photographer must capture quick, clean, and clear images while efficiently positioning customers with the athletes to ensure timely photo sessions, as the athletes need to move on to the autograph pavilion immediately after their photo-op. This is a professionally run convention, and staff members are expected to focus solely on their roles without seeking autographs or photos with the attending athletes and celebrities. We conduct two conventions in Chicago (Rosemont, IL) each year, and we are looking for someone who can ideally commit to both events in March and November. The working hours for the event are as follows: Friday from 11 AM to 8:30 PM (with the event starting at 1 PM and minor setup and training beforehand), Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The pay for the three-day event is $450 ($150 per day), which includes lunch each day and a parking pass for the convention lot. All necessary equipment, including cameras, lighting, and computers, will be provided. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while capturing memorable moments between fans and athletes.
