About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Event Planner Coordinator to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. This position is a contract role expected to last until the end of the year and offers a hybrid work environment. The Event Planner Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating both social and business events, ensuring that each event is executed successfully through meticulous planning and effective communication. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy. The role involves managing event logistics from start to finish, which includes negotiating vendor contracts, managing budgets, and conducting research to innovate event solutions. The Event Planner Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate event documentation and reports, operating office equipment and multimedia instruments, and supporting multilingual interfaces with participants. This position requires a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and safety awareness, as well as superior verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those who have attended business school or hold an associate degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and familiarity with working in a mill environment is a plus. The ability to communicate effectively in English is required, while proficiency in Portuguese and French is considered a significant advantage. Responsibilities
