About the position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Event Planner to join our prestigious Country Club and Events Venue in Staten Island, NY. This role involves managing high-end events, weddings, and corporate functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving event sales through strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including weddings, social gatherings, corporate functions, and club events.
  • Drive event sales by building strong relationships with potential clients, conducting venue tours, and closing contracts.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Collaborate with the culinary, operations, and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, timeline management, and on-site event supervision.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning, sales, and execution, preferably in a hospitality, country club, or social events venue.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering successful events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and vendors effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and event design.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
