About the position

The Event Planner for Education & Field Events at The Standard is responsible for the proactive planning, logistics, and project management of various events. This role involves managing assigned events independently, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and overseeing all phases of event execution, from budgeting to post-event analysis. The position requires travel to oversee event logistics on-site and aims to enhance customer engagement through well-organized events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned events independently, including project management, vendor management, and event design.
  • Oversee event logistics such as site selection, vendor management, and participant travel arrangements.
  • Provide strategic support for field events at regional and individual levels.
  • Act as a focal point for meeting and event support, offering expertise and leadership.
  • Utilize industry benchmarks to improve event delivery and budget utilization.
  • Manage logistics for strategic trade shows, including booth rentals and promotional materials.
  • Oversee administration of Continuing Education programs and certifications.
  • Develop and track key metrics to demonstrate event success.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in event planning or related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
