About the position

The Event Planner/Executive Assistant role involves managing and coordinating events while providing executive support. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office work three days a week and remote work for two days. The ideal candidate will possess strong graphic design skills, be resourceful, and have a keen attention to detail to ensure successful event execution and office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create event flyers and weekly office slides to promote events.
  • Source and vet vendors for events, providing recommendations based on budget and quality.
  • Ensure a branded and positive workplace experience for all employees.
  • Assist in planning and executing events for over 100 employees.
  • Maintain clear communication and attention to detail in all correspondence.

Requirements

  • Strong graphic design skills, particularly in creating promotional materials.
  • Experience in event planning or coordination, especially for large groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Asana, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with wedding planning or similar events.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
