The Technical Writer/Event Planner is a dual role that provides essential support services across both technical writing and event planning domains. This position is responsible for creating and coordinating written content for various publications, journals, SharePoint sites, and briefings. The individual will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop comprehensive event agendas, presentation materials, and promotional content, ensuring that all materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with the client's objectives. In addition to writing responsibilities, the Technical Writer/Event Planner will assist in the logistical planning of conferences, seminars, and workshops. This includes coordinating conference approvals, selecting venues, scheduling events, managing branding and printing requirements, and coordinating speakers. The role demands strong writing and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The estimated starting salary range for this position is between $73,000 to $80,000, with pay commensurate with experience.
