About the position

As an Event Planner for our industrial trade show, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the event. This role is crucial in creating a platform for networking, learning, and showcasing the latest innovations in the industrial sector. You will work closely with vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees to ensure a successful and impactful event. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from logistics to communication, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed to create a seamless experience for all participants. In this position, you will plan and manage all event logistics, which includes venue and booth selection, layout design, and scheduling. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors, to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Additionally, you will develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the planning process. Overseeing registration processes, including online systems and on-site check-ins, will also be a key part of your role. Collaboration with marketing teams will be essential to promote the event and drive attendance. You will handle all event-related communications, including announcements, reminders, and follow-ups, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged. Compliance with health, safety, and other regulations will be a priority, and you will conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that each event is better than the last.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Background in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Flexibility to travel and work weekends as needed.
