About the position

The Party Host Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and success of various events and parties at The Play Place. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities to ensure that all aspects of events run smoothly and guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
• Supervise and train party hosts and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during events, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor the setup and execution of events, ensuring adherence to company standards and guest expectations.
• Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring events stay within financial parameters.
• Address any issues that arise during events quickly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Gather feedback from guests post-event to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the Event Manager and other departments (catering, decor, entertainment) to ensure seamless execution of events.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning or hospitality management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
