About the position

Mr Sugar Rush is seeking a highly organized and efficient Event Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on researching and coordinating events to promote the company's catering services, particularly in ice cream and food entrees. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy engaging with clients, and contribute to the company's mission of spreading joy through catering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heavy online research for upcoming events suitable for the brand.
• Build and maintain event administrator lists using Excel and contact them via email/phone.
• Apply for necessary permits for events.
• Look up and apply for various events.
• Contact new potential leads to inform them about services offered.
• Communicate with previous clients to maintain relationships.
• Create quotes and invoices for customers inquiring about services.
• Make sales, create brand awareness, and book events.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience in invoicing and follow-up communication via phone and email.
• Ability to conduct internet research effectively.
• Comfortable with cold calling and sending a high volume of emails.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event planning or coordination.
• Sales experience, particularly in a catering or food service environment.
