About the position

The Event Planner role, also referred to as the Go To Host, is designed to enhance the workplace experience by serving as the primary point of contact for colleagues and guests. This position emphasizes outstanding service, engagement, and the ability to create a welcoming environment. The Event Planner is responsible for managing various hosting operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and logging activities to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients and guests feel welcome and their needs are taken care of in a fun, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Capture individual preferences of guests for future visits and accommodate special requests creatively.
  • Utilize technology for room booking, reserving amenities, and assisting colleagues throughout their day.
  • Communicate proactively with the Experience team and other service groups to ensure a cohesive service approach.
  • Conduct daily checklists to ensure quality of assigned workspaces and improve performance.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence to observe quality control issues and log service tickets as needed.
  • Provide technical support for first-line fixes and ensure a clear handoff process for unresolved issues.
  • Deliver surprise and delight events in the home kitchen areas.
  • Develop relationships with colleagues to identify their needs and ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Coordinate service and décor items for timely activations, including breakdown and storage.
  • Recommend best practices to the Regional Workplace Experience Manager regarding hospitality and operations.
  • Assist in driving high colleague participation in workplace experiences and facilitate campus tours for new employees and visitors.
  • Assist the team with report preparation and event implementation.
  • Manage daily service delivery of curated experience vendors and activations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience with Blue Chip/High Touch clients.
  • High School diploma or College Degree.
  • Proven record of providing stellar customer service.
  • Ability to function successfully within a strong team environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of property management/Condeco systems is a plus.
  • Excellent telephone skills and verbal communication.
