About the position

The Event Planner at Pyramid Global Hospitality is responsible for coordinating and executing events at Sky Square, a multipurpose space for video shoots, meetings, and events. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and property staff, ensuring that client expectations are met through effective communication and organization. Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between clients and property staff for event planning.
• Plan and ensure execution of events including arrival/departure timings, room setups, and audio-visual needs.
• Promote the property's accommodations and support services to corporate accounts.
• Conduct site visits with key client contacts to coordinate meeting needs.
• Ensure accurate group billing and review in-house reports for consistency.
• Attend weekly designated meetings to discuss event planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding event details in a timely manner.
• Enhance group events and profitability through up-selling techniques.
• Coordinate with vendors, obtain quotes, and manage client contracts.
• Respond proactively to client satisfaction evaluations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel or convention/conference center, preferably in conference services.
• Knowledge of conference service equipment and audio-visual needs.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Delphi.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hospitality management or event planning.
• Familiarity with event marketing and promotion strategies.
