The Events Planner will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of events, including conferences, meetings, parties, and corporate functions. This role is crucial for ensuring that all aspects of the events are meticulously planned and executed to meet client expectations. As a federal contractor, Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) maintains a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act, emphasizing the importance of compliance and professionalism in all operations. In this position, the Events Planner will provide event planning services for up to 50 events, which includes planning for contracted events, facilitating events, and coordinating all necessary logistics. The role requires travel to proposed venues for site visits and the preparation of monthly reports to track progress and outcomes. For specific events, such as the ANG Yellow Ribbon events, the planner will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, venue location management, administrative services, food and beverage services, childcare services, audio-visual support, and onsite assistance. The Events Planner will collaborate closely with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints. This includes developing event concepts and themes tailored to client preferences, researching and identifying suitable venues, negotiating contracts, and securing bookings. Additionally, the planner will assist in creating and managing event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and remain within the allocated budget. Marketing strategies will also be a key focus, utilizing various channels such as social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising to promote events and attract attendees. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new event technologies, and best practices in event planning is essential for enhancing the overall event experience. The Events Planner will oversee event setup, manage event staff and volunteers, and ensure smooth operations during the event. Post-event evaluations will also be conducted to assess the success of the events and gather feedback from clients and attendees, which will inform future planning efforts.
