About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. The Event Planner will be responsible for planning various events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and fundraisers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage event concepts from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert advice on event planning.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best rates and services for events.
  • Coordinate logistics such as catering, transportation, accommodations, and guest services to create seamless experiences.
  • Implement event marketing strategies to promote upcoming events and maximize attendance.
  • Manage budgets and timelines while tracking expenses throughout the planning process.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all elements are in place and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Collaborate with hotel and restaurant partners to enhance guest experiences during events.
  • Evaluate the success of events through feedback collection and analysis for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in events management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in event marketing is a plus, with an understanding of how to promote events successfully.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors and venues.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules.
