About the position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute a wide range of events including weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
• Follow directions and work closely with event sales coordinators and the CEO.
• Exhibit a positive and helpful attitude, embodying the 'Disney personality'.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace under pressure.
• Communicate detailed information with the catering team and vendors.
• Obtain guaranteed counts, payments, and details for all events.
• Take pictures and videos for social media content creation.
• Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service.
• Strong knowledge of event planning principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with catering services, banquet facilities, hotels, and restaurants in the local market.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure timely execution of events.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate potential issues or challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hospitality or related fields.
• Knowledge of event marketing and upselling techniques.
