As an Event Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events under our Events as a Service (Events AaS) Program. This position involves managing all aspects of event planning and execution, which includes space planning, vendor management, and providing customer support. You will also support the company's marquee events, ensuring their success and alignment with our organizational goals. Your responsibilities will extend to owning the global plug-and-play events model, which requires maintaining consistency and efficiency in event execution across all locations. This is essential for creating a seamless experience for all participants involved in our events. In addition to managing the execution of events, you will optimize space planning by supporting the Global Workplace Events Program Manager. This involves making the best use of event spaces, ensuring they are adequately equipped and furnished for various events. You will also manage vendor relationships, working closely with the Global Workplace Events Program Manager to secure and manage preferred pricing for event caterers, transportation, rentals, and other vendors. This will require collaboration with procurement and travel & expense (T&E) teams to ensure that all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. Customer support is another key aspect of your role. You will provide guidance and support to team leaders and onsite hosts to streamline event planning and execution, ensuring that all events run smoothly and meet the needs of participants. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating event reports by tracking and analyzing event data. This will help in evaluating event success and identifying areas for improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our event planning processes.
