Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with the bank's objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable venues, vendors, and partners.
  • Create detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Oversee event registration (if needed), attendee management, and communication to ensure a positive participant experience.
  • Monitor event progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, community partners, and sponsors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Liaise with speakers, presenters, and sponsors to ensure their needs are met and their participation is seamless.
  • Act as a representative of the bank at events, fostering positive relationships and promoting our brand.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into event planning, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate social responsibility initiatives into events, such as charitable partnerships or community engagement activities.
  • Measure and report on the environmental and social impact of events, aligning with the bank's ESG reporting requirements.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and gather feedback for future improvements.
  • Analyze event data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of events in achieving social responsibility goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event planning strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Planner, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of social responsibility principles and sustainable event practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
