About the position

The Event Planner will play a crucial role in organizing and executing FamilyLife's NEW Weekend to Remember getaways and other events aimed at reaching individuals with the gospel. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively utilize their organizational and project management skills to ensure that each event is successful and impactful. The Event Planner will be responsible for connecting with hotels and venues, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that all staff, attendees, and volunteers have the necessary resources to facilitate these events. In this role, the Event Planner will work closely with various stakeholders to create an environment that fosters spiritual growth and community engagement. The planner will be tasked with developing event schedules, managing budgets, and overseeing the execution of event activities. This position is not just about planning; it is about creating catalytic movements that encourage communities to engage in spiritual multiplication, particularly within the context of marriage and family. The Event Planner will also be responsible for evaluating the success of each event, gathering feedback from participants, and making recommendations for future improvements. This role requires a passion for ministry and a commitment to helping others find hope and encouragement through FamilyLife's events.

Responsibilities
