About The Position
The Event Planning Manager at Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor is a pivotal role that focuses on delivering exceptional service for both corporate and social events. This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in event planning, particularly within the hotel industry. The Event Planning Manager serves as the primary liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff, ensuring that all aspects of the event are meticulously planned and executed. This includes administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage, and Audio/Visual needs, managing room blocks and pick-up, and overseeing billing instructions and final reviews. In addition to these responsibilities, the Event Planning Manager is the on-site contact for events, responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Event Planning Manager will work closely with various departments within the hotel to coordinate logistics and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
