About the position

As an Event Programmer (Part-Time) at Ticketmaster, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their event management needs. This position is remote and allows you to work from various locations including Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and California. You will be part of the Event Management team, which is dedicated to ensuring that our clients can effectively utilize Ticketmaster's products and platforms to meet their business objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to build events and make necessary updates based on client requests, ensuring that all data is accurately collected, reviewed, and inputted into the Ticketmaster Host system following established best practices and standards. In this role, you will be expected to meet and exceed service level agreements related to event management. This includes accurately inputting event data into the Ticketmaster Host system, identifying and resolving any event-related errors, and collaborating with clients, promoters, and various internal departments such as marketing, accounting, customer service, and event operations. Establishing and developing strong relationships with assigned clients will be key to your success. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call schedule rotation, providing after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as needed. The position requires a flexible schedule, as you may need to accommodate work during evenings and weekends. You will also be responsible for other duties as assigned by senior team members, which may include assisting with special projects or initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is service-oriented, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is able to handle multiple priorities effectively. A background in box office operations or a general awareness of the entertainment business will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and input accurate data into the Ticketmaster Host system.
  • Verify output following procedural best practices and established standards.
  • Meet and exceed Event Management service level agreements.
  • Accurately input event data and identify and resolve event-related errors.
  • Work with clients, promoters, and internal departments to create events and distribute information.
  • Establish and develop relationships with assigned clients.
  • Participate in on-call schedule rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday client support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior team members.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience with the Ticketmaster System or related field experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Creativity, latitude, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Box Office experience is a plus.
  • Overall awareness of the entertainment business is important.
  • Knowledge of how TM departments impact one another and outside clients is a plus.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with excellent data entry skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred.
