As an Event Programmer at Ticketmaster, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with their event management needs. This part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week, involves working remotely from various locations including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. You will be part of the Event Management team, which is dedicated to ensuring that clients can effectively utilize Ticketmaster's products and platforms to meet their business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include building events, making updates based on client requests, and ensuring that all data is accurately inputted into the Ticketmaster Host system. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to procedural best practices to verify the accuracy of the output. In this position, you will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and inputting event data, while also identifying and resolving any errors related to events. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, promoters, and internal departments such as marketing, accounting, and customer service, to create events and disseminate information. Establishing and developing relationships with assigned clients is key to your success in this role. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call schedule rotation, which includes after-hours, weekend, and holiday support responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by senior team members as needed. To excel in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience with the Ticketmaster system or a related field, along with strong organizational and communication skills. A service-oriented mindset is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Creativity and problem-solving skills will be valuable assets in addressing client needs. Box office experience and an overall awareness of the entertainment business will enhance your ability to succeed in this position. Flexibility in your schedule is required, as you may need to work some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a BA/BS degree is preferred.
