About the position
The Event Sales Coordinator at Athletes in Action is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional service for events held on campus. This role focuses on meeting sales goals, managing client relationships, and ensuring effective communication within the team to deliver outstanding experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive plan to meet increasing annual revenue goals for SCRC, including various facilities such as the Sports Complex and Conference Center.
- Utilize available tools and systems to retain previous guests and attract new events and groups.
- Provide detailed event proposals to potential guests in a timely manner and ensure accurate communication to the operations team.
- Assist in event fulfillment and post-event evaluations as needed.
- Maintain and submit detailed weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, revenue projections, and retention rates.
- Assist in executing events, including setup, teardown, serving, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the hospitality and sales industry or a similar sales position with a proven track record of successful results.
- Prior experience with Customer Resource Management platforms is preferred.
