The Event Sales Manager at Parker Hospitality is responsible for driving restaurant business through direct and indirect sales methods, focusing on private events and large parties. This role involves supervising the Host/Sales department and ensuring that events align with company standards while collaborating with management to enhance sales strategies and market reach.

Responsibilities

• Drive restaurant business through direct and indirect sales methods, specializing in private events and large parties.
• Supervise the Host/Sales department and ensure alignment with company values.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Executive Chef to guarantee event standards are met.
• Devise strategies with management to increase sales and expand market reach.
• Oversee sales staff performance to meet targets and assist with complex tasks.
• Draft in-house event contracts and coordinate food and beverage requirements for events.
• Supervise staff responsible for sales, inventory checks, and cash reconciliation.
• Engage with retailers and sales reps to promote products and gather insights.
• Organize sales promotional activities, including event space and marketing material preparations.
• Interact with event hosts to ensure satisfaction and exceed expectations during events.
• Follow up with private dining guests post-events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in event sales or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Proficient in drafting contracts and coordinating event logistics.
