About the position

The Sales Manager/Private Event Manager at Fogo de Chão is responsible for driving sales through active prospecting and managing private events for groups of 15 or more. This role involves maintaining client relationships, managing the booking process, and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to company values. The position requires strategic planning, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with the restaurant management team to achieve sales goals and enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses and organizations.
  • Enter all prospects, contacts, accounts, and booking information in the CRM (Tripleseat).
  • Maintain weekly updates on current leads and convert them to bookings.
  • Act as the primary contact for all group clients, ensuring completion of event details and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the booking process and obtain client signatures on contracts and event order forms.
  • Develop quarterly sales plans and solicit new customer relationships.
  • Attend and participate in all company-related trainings and meetings.
  • Source, plan, and execute local store marketing activities.
  • Drive overall traffic and create profitable bookings using available tools.
  • Attend networking events as a brand ambassador to foster relationships and drive sales.
  • Schedule and be present for all guest site tours and communicate with the restaurant management team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales or relevant experience.
  • Experience in the restaurant or attraction industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various office applications.
  • Experience in Tripleseat and Open Table preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
  • Understanding of general business and financial concepts.
