The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. This hotel is part of a new development that will feature 17 ski lifts, around 1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of approximately 1,350 rooms, and about 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, including one of the largest 'ski beaches' in the world. The Grand Hyatt offers 436 luxury accommodations, including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units, along with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space. The hotel features a lobby-level 3-meal restaurant and bar, a signature bar, a pool/après ski bar and grill, a coffee bistro, a large outdoor event terrace, a pool, three whirlpools, a kids club, and a fitness area. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling and servicing events, primarily focusing on Banquet Food and Beverage. This includes menu planning, agenda setting, and coordinating hotel meeting services. You will also review contracts and facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events to ensure a high level of service. Additionally, you will host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate in and potentially lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and collaborate with the sales and events staff. You will work closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff, and perform any other duties as assigned.
