About the position

Renewal by Andersen of Oklahoma is seeking an Event Marketing Team Manager to join our growing team. We are one of the top Event teams in our network and it's a great time to join us! In this role, you will be required to split your time between the office and travel to various events, home shows, and retail locations. The role of the Team Manager is to motivate and develop a team of brand promoters through performance analysis, on-site coaching, and in-office training. This position requires the ability to create team goals and action plans, analyze key performance data, develop team performance, and assist in department growth as outlined in the Key Job Responsibilities. As an Event Marketing Team Manager, you will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and managing a team of brand promoters. You will manage the team to key performance metrics and create weekly and monthly plans that include performance goals. Additionally, you will pull and analyze data from key performance reports, conduct individual and group training sessions, and research new events and other business avenues to help the department grow. Visiting team members in the field, motivating and coaching brand promoters on specific methodologies and performance criteria, and assisting with new hire training classes are also key aspects of this role. You will assist the department Director with key department tasks and may need to set up and break down events and home shows when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, hire, train and manage a team of brand promoters
  • Manage team to key performance metrics
  • Create weekly and monthly plans which include performance goals
  • Pull and analyze data from key performance reports
  • Conduct individual and group training sessions
  • Research new events and other business avenues to help department grow
  • Visit team members in the field
  • Motivate and coach brand promoters on specific methodologies and performance criteria
  • Lead or assist with new hire training classes
  • Assist department Director with key department tasks
  • Set up and breakdown events and home shows, when necessary

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to listen
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well in a changing environment
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete responsibilities timely
  • Able to conduct research, work under tight deadlines, develop and organize information
  • Ability to find resolution, deliver difficult feedback and advise management
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
