The Event Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue goals through effective event management and customer service. Responsibilities

  • Sell and achieve individual revenue goals for events.
  • Service events primarily for Catering and Banquet Food and Beverage departments.
  • Review contracts and manage event deposits.
  • Plan menus and set agendas for events.
  • Coordinate hotel planning services and collect payments.
  • Host hotel tours for potential clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, community, and brand.
  • Participate in and potentially lead event and staff meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of hotel event/catering sales experience in a brand name.
  • Strong financial acumen and organizational skills.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in various technology applications.
  • A sincere desire to satisfy the needs of others in a demanding environment.
