About the position

Punch Bowl Social is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Event Sales Manager to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and selling private parties at our venue. Your primary focus will be on generating private party sales through proactive outreach and organic growth. You will actively participate in weekly meetings, setting communication standards and expectations with the management team to ensure alignment and success in achieving sales objectives. As the Event Sales Manager, you will establish sales objectives by creating a comprehensive sales plan and quotas. You will be tasked with achieving financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as necessary. Building and maintaining relationships with both current and new clients will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also actively seek out convention and tourism business opportunities to expand our reach. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will work closely with the General Manager on public relations, sales, and marketing initiatives. Effective contract management will be a key part of your role, ensuring that all client requests are communicated and executed sensitively and effectively. You will oversee the scheduling and ordering of all required elements for events, supporting a team of teams with various operational duties, including recruiting, onboarding, and training as needed. This position requires a positive attitude, a passion for creating memorable experiences, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, planning, and selling private parties at Punch Bowl Social

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in restaurant event specific sales
  • Extensive knowledge of the market
  • Experience in event operations
  • Ability to complete listed job responsibilities
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to accommodate a schedule based on volume
  • Must be 21 years old and over
