About the position

Jaguar Bolera is seeking a highly dynamic and experienced Event Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a vibrant and innovative environment. This role is pivotal in driving event sales and ensuring that our guests have exceptional experiences. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for analyzing and developing strategic sales plans that align with the organization's goals, while also engaging with the community and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives on meeting new people and closing deals, with a passion for creating memorable events for groups of all sizes. In this position, you will curate quality relationships with clients, ensuring that their events are tailored to their needs and enhanced with innovative ideas. You will work closely with the operations team to deliver precise and coordinated experiences, supporting them with your onsite presence and guidance during events. Your organizational skills and results-oriented mindset will be essential in maintaining high standards and achieving financial predictability through effective planning and analysis. The Event Sales Manager will also be responsible for overseeing a team of sales managers and coordinators, fostering collaboration between the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events. With a focus on financial performance, you will analyze sales data, prioritize actions, and create quality plans that drive proactive event sales to our venue. This role is not just about sales; it’s about building a culture of excellence and teamwork that enhances the overall guest experience at Jaguar Bolera.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop strategic sales plans that achieve organizational goals.
  • Engage with community members and your network to support strategic plans and build business.
  • Curate quality relationships with clients to inspire repeat business.
  • Work with clients to ensure their events meet their expectations and offer innovative ideas.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the operations team for precise event execution.
  • Support the operations team with onsite presence and event participation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years at a director level in a hospitality and/or gaming space.
  • Proven sales volume of $1.5M individually and/or $3-4M collectively with a team.
  • 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage category.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting & analysis.
  • Oversight of a team of sales managers/coordinators and partnership with an operations team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
