About the position

Slate at Founders Tower is a luxurious event venue located in the iconic Penthouse of the Historic Founders Tower in NW Oklahoma City. With breathtaking views and a modern, upscale atmosphere, we host a variety of events including weddings, corporate gatherings, private parties, and community events. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Event Sales Manager to join our team and help keep Slate buzzing with activity 6 days a week! As our Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing event bookings. You will work closely with potential clients to craft unforgettable experiences at our unique venue, ensuring that we remain one of Oklahoma City's top destinations for events. This is a high-energy role perfect for someone passionate about event planning, sales, and creating lasting memories for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales efforts by securing bookings for weddings, corporate events, parties, and more.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event planners, vendors, and local businesses to maximize referrals.
  • Conduct tours of the venue and customize proposals to meet client needs.
  • Manage inquiries and leads through email, phone, and in-person communication.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to keep the venue occupied 6 days a week.
  • Attend networking events, bridal expos, and other marketing opportunities to increase exposure.
  • Track sales progress and ensure clients receive exceptional service throughout the booking process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event or hospitality sales.
  • Strong local network within the wedding, corporate, or event industries.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and creative thinker.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
