MISSION BBQ is a casual, family-friendly BBQ restaurant dedicated to serving those who serve. We are currently seeking a Catering Service Specialist, also known as an Event Sales Manager, to join our team. This role is essential in building long-term relationships with our customers while providing exceptional catering services. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly personality, a heart for hospitality, and a disciplined, organized approach to their work. We value individuals who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and welcoming, as well as those who demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability. As a Catering Service Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with customers and ensuring their events are a complete success. This includes building sales through weekly brand presentations and food drops, maintaining an active presence at catering events, and accurately preparing and submitting monthly reports. Administrative duties will also be part of your responsibilities, which include data entry, managing emails and phone calls, and participating in weekly meetings and conference calls. Intermediate computer skills are required for this position, as you will need to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
