As an Event Sales Manager at Nusr-Et Holdings USA LLC, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating exceptional events that reflect the culinary excellence and unique dining experience that Nusr-Et is renowned for. This position encompasses all aspects of event management, from the initial planning stages to post-event assessments, ensuring that every detail aligns with the high standards of our upscale steakhouse. You will be responsible for promoting, procuring, and executing top-notch catering services, while also actively seeking new business opportunities through creative outreach methods. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in guiding clients through their event journeys, tailoring solutions to meet their specific objectives and ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. In this role, you will effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner, proactively solicit new business through networking and marketing efforts, and generate revenue by managing large parties and selling event space. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional materials, while also building relationships with various businesses and clients to expand our active account list. Understanding the competitive landscape and market trends will be crucial as you navigate the sales process and negotiate favorable terms for events. You will also oversee all event operations, conduct final checks on the day of the event, and evaluate the success of each event to continuously improve our offerings. Your commitment to delivering world-class service will be reflected in your ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel, ensuring that all customer information is accurate and up to date. By actively referring and guiding customers through the Nusret network, you will leverage contacts to secure additional opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve established revenue targets. This role requires a proactive approach to learning and adopting all standard operating procedures related to event management, as well as staying informed about new product offerings and emerging technologies that support meetings and events.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of event management from planning to post-event assessment.
  • Oversee the promotion, procurement, and execution of catering services for the steakhouse.
  • Proactively solicit new business through networking, cold-calling, and marketing efforts.
  • Generate revenue by selling event space and managing large parties of 10+ guests.
  • Develop sales strategies to meet revenue targets in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Build relationships with businesses and clients to expand the active account list.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends to effectively sell against competitors.
  • Attend site visits and venue meetings to support customer event experiences.
  • Plan events with attention to financial and time constraints, negotiating favorable terms.
  • Manage all event operations and conduct final checks on the day of the event.
  • Evaluate event success and submit reports for continuous improvement.
  • Deliver world-class service by maintaining relationships with customers and venue personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience required.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and sales processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Brand knowledge and familiarity with all products offered.
