The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events, with primary sales efforts concentrated in Banquet Food and Beverage. This role includes essential tasks such as menu planning, agenda setting, and coordinating hotel meeting services. The Event Sales Manager plays a crucial role in contract review and facilitating communication before, during, and after events with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service is maintained throughout the event lifecycle. In addition to these responsibilities, the Event Sales Manager will host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, and actively participate in or lead event meetings and other staff meetings. Collaboration is key, as the manager will work closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff to ensure seamless event execution. This position is vital in creating memorable experiences for guests and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. The compensation for this role ranges from $76,500 to $95,000, with eligibility for a quarterly bonus structure.
