Creative Culinary Management Company is seeking an Event Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role is pivotal in driving sales and profitability by cultivating strong client relationships and overseeing the successful planning and execution of events. The Event Sales Manager will play a key role in establishing our company as a top-tier venue, focused on customer and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing resources for client events, budget planning, and interdepartmental collaboration, effectively balancing customer needs with company goals. In this position, you will manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring that client expectations are met and that event experiences are delivered at a high level in line with our brand standards. You will create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients and act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include developing tailored event proposals and quotations based on client requirements, conducting site visits, and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to manage logistics. You will oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you will develop operating plans and budgets to support sales efforts, lead and oversee our event coordinators or senior servers, and monitor schedules and deliverables while tracking expenses and reimbursements for contracted events. As the key point-of-contact for service to clients and their agencies, you will collaborate to develop solutions for client challenges and manage the permit application and approval process associated with hosting events at the Seaport. Your role will also involve maintaining a preferred vendors list and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and other requirements. The ability to manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously is essential, as is the flexibility to maintain a schedule that meets business demands.
