The Event Sponsorship Sales Manager is a dynamic, creative, driven, and organized individual who is passionate about supporting a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This role is pivotal in driving corporate sponsorship sales for A Healthier WE and the Healthy America 2025 event, which is scheduled to take place in April 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska. The primary responsibility of the Event Sponsorship Sales Manager is to develop and enhance sponsorship sales, ensuring that revenue goals are met for the event. This position will initially be part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week, and will report directly to the CEO and Chief Impact Officer. In this role, the Event Sponsorship Sales Manager will work closely with the CEO to identify corporate sponsorship opportunities and other financial partnerships for the Healthy America event. This involves conducting thorough research to explore all aspects of the Healthy America Ecosystem and pinpointing potential sponsors and foundations to approach for sales. The sponsorship goal for this event is set between $400,000 and $500,000. In addition to an hourly wage, the individual will receive a negotiated commission percentage on all independently secured sponsorships. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive database of potential and current sponsors, categorized by company names, contact details, and other relevant information. They will collaborate with the CEO and CIO to develop targeted sales materials and initiate outreach efforts through email, Zoom, and phone calls to introduce the event, foster relationships, and close sponsorship deals. Daily activities will include actively soliciting previous sponsors and engaging new prospects to secure paid sponsorships for the 2025 event. Additionally, the Event Sponsorship Sales Manager will maintain a weekly outreach pipeline calendar to track leads and their status in the sales process, including any closed sponsorships and their respective funding levels. They will also manage sponsorship billing and vendor costs as necessary, assist with operational projects, and provide administrative support to the CEO and CIO. The role may involve pre-event logistics and event-day support for AHW staff, sponsors, speakers, and attendees, along with other duties as assigned by the CEO and Chief Impact Officer. Professional conduct and appropriate brand representation are expected at all times, and attendance at both in-person and Zoom meetings is required. Candidates from the San Francisco Bay Area are particularly encouraged to apply.
