About the position

Allied Universal® Event Services is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Event Staff. This role is pivotal in ensuring that events run smoothly and that guests have a positive experience. As an Event Staff member, you will be on the front lines at various venues, including sports stadiums, concerts, festivals, and convention centers. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting tickets, welcoming guests, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be tasked with directing foot traffic and maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of designated areas. This position is perfect for those who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy interacting with people. In this role, you will assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution. This includes allowing appropriate entry into each venue, collecting and scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic in and out of the venue. A key part of your job will be to greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing them with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience. Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
  • Allow appropriate entry into each venue, collecting and/or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges.
  • Direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
  • Initiate a genuine, friendly, and personal greeting to guests as they arrive.
  • Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
  • Ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency of designated areas.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
  • May be required to pass a Driver's Record check.
  • Must be professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
