About the position
Tend is the premier marketplace for hospitality staff, connecting event professionals and hosts to our network of vetted bartenders, servers, and event staff. We serve private events throughout Jefferson City, MO, and are currently seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Event Staff to join our team. This temporary position offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to select when and where you want to work, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to complement their current work schedules and add an additional source of income. As an Event Staff member, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of events. This includes setting up and cleaning up event venues, checking in guests as they arrive, and interacting with guests in a professional and friendly manner. The ideal candidate will possess a relentlessly positive attitude, the ability to handle demanding customers, and a strong sense of accountability. Punctuality is crucial; arriving early is considered on-time, and being late is unacceptable. This role requires at least one year of experience in the hospitality industry, whether in a restaurant, catering company, or event venue such as a banquet hall or stadium. Requirements
