About The Position

The Event Supervisor position is designed to support the Allen ISD Events & Venue Operations department by executing and supervising events at the Allen Performing Arts Center, Lowery Auditorium, and other district venues. The role involves performing various venue operation tasks and projects as assigned, ensuring safety procedures are maintained, and providing outstanding service delivery and customer satisfaction during events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but experience may replace degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event management in an arena, theater, or convention center environment.
  • Experience in house management, box office management, and hospitality services.
  • Knowledge of lighting, audio, and video systems in a theatrical or live event environment.
  • First Aid training and CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid Texas Driver License.

Responsibilities

  • Execute venue operations tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Ensure that safety procedures are maintained for the public, performers, and crew.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various areas of the organization.
  • Receive pre-planned event information and execute the event.
  • Interface with clients and student workers for assigned events.
  • Supervise events from load-in to load-out.
  • Complete post-event reports.
  • Handle emergency situations and manage the facility to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
  • Comply with policies established by federal and state law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or District.

Benefits

  • Pay Grade TG02, $197.70 - $239.75 daily rate, commensurate with experience according to District salary schedule.
  • 226 days of work per year.
