About the position

The Joint Exercise Event Support Planner at SAIC will provide essential support to the USINDOPACOM J71, focusing on the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and offering executive administrative assistance to the J711 Branch Chief. This role involves coordinating logistics for exercises, maintaining event calendars, and ensuring effective communication among various stakeholders to facilitate successful event execution.

Responsibilities

• Support organizations within USINDOPACOM for efficient execution of JELC events, including event registration and logistics coordination.
• Assist the USINDOPACOM J711 Branch Chief by maintaining event calendars and personnel trackers.
• Facilitate IM/KM requirements for meetings and submit inputs to exercise spend plans and support requirements.
• Coordinate with staff and other organizations to ensure proper personnel, equipment, and clearance for events.
• Maintain J711 exercise information data sites and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Support the production of exercise orders or directives for exercise planning events.
• Utilize tools such as Task Management System (TMS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and Joint Training Tool (JTT) for JELC planning events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and requirements for planning and executing Field Training Exercises (FTX).
• Ability to plan and manage complex tasks under tight time constraints.
• Familiarity with IM/KM tools such as VTC, GVS, Sharepoint, Teams, TMS, and JTT.
