About the position

The Event Technician, Audio Visual is responsible for the setup and operation of basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the event process. This part-time position requires effective communication with clients and technical proficiency to troubleshoot equipment issues, all while adhering to company procedures and maintaining a positive client relationship.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by exceeding client expectations and maintaining effective communication.
• Monitor events and check in with customers to ensure their needs are met.
• Demonstrate technical ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately, following company processes.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue and finalize invoices with clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent educational experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
