About the position

The Events and Promotions Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external guests while assisting the Promotions & Events Manager in executing various promotions and events within the Marketing Department. This role requires enthusiasm for creating a fun and energetic environment on the casino floor, ensuring that all promotional activities are executed smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with guests during special events, promotions, and Direct Mail requests.
  • Coordinate property promotions and giveaways, including ordering materials, setup, décor, and selecting prize-winners.
  • Manage and maintain promotional materials such as décor and merchandising tools.
  • Work as event staff to set up events, administer promotions, issue prizes, and ensure compliance with procedures and rules.
  • Setup and deploy CMS promotions accurately and timely.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by the Promotions & Events Manager, Marketing Manager, or Director of Marketing.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all casino events, promotional activities, and direct mail offers.
  • Assist with database and direct mail needs, including maintaining and updating player database and hotel reservations system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assist with guest service requests.
  • Organize and run special projects to ensure their proper completion.
  • Maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude while providing excellent guest service.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and efficient with knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills using phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills are essential.
  • High school education or equivalent preferred; college degree preferred but not required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Special Events, or Promotions preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Colorado Gaming License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a casino or gaming environment.
  • Familiarity with event planning and execution.
