About the position

The Events Coordinator - Marketing at Twin Towers is responsible for planning and executing marketing events that enhance community engagement and support sales initiatives. This role involves collaboration with various departments and external partners to ensure successful events, as well as facilitating new resident orientations and engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Plans and facilitates prospect events with dining and other departments, including invitations and reservations.
• Handles internal room booking system details.
• Builds relationships with incoming residents and families.
• Plans and assists with execution of events, focusing on lead generation opportunities.
• Handles new resident orientation and engagement.
• Assists staff with various projects and requests related to sales, marketing, and hospitality.
• Conducts tours of the facility.
• Provides coverage for the Sales department front desk in the absence of the Administrative Assistant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; college degree in a related field preferred.
• Related experience in marketing, sales, and event planning and/or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community is a plus.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Customer service background with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and initiative.
• High level of patience and compassion for others.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event planning within a non-profit or community setting.
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and lead generation techniques.
