About the position

Charlie Health is seeking a Manager of Events who will play a crucial role in driving growth through the strategic use of events. This position involves the comprehensive management of both internal and external events, including virtual webinars, team retreats, and community-specific gatherings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual events strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and marketing initiatives. This role requires a balance of creativity, execution, and analytical skills, as the Manager of Events will ideate, execute, and monitor the performance of events against established KPIs. The Manager of Events will oversee all logistics related to events, including registration, attendee tracking, and the preparation of materials. They will also manage relationships with external vendors and ensure that all events meet the necessary continuing education certifications and credentials. Collaboration with the marketing, outreach, and communications teams is essential to promote events effectively and engage target audiences. The successful candidate will stay informed about mental health trends to identify relevant event topics and will be expected to set goals and monitor the performance of events, focusing on metrics such as signups and attendance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual events strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and marketing moments.
  • Drive the end-to-end event process from initial strategy to event ideation and execution.
  • Maintain a thoughtful cadence and calendar of events that ladder up to overall company goals and major company and marketing moments.
  • Oversee event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support, pre- and post-event evaluations, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and 3rd parties where needed.
  • Apply for and maintain appropriate continuing education certifications and credentials.
  • Work closely with the marketing, outreach, and communications teams to promote events, develop materials, and engage target audiences.
  • Set goals and monitor performance of events across signups, attendance, and post-event activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with mental health trends and potential event topics.

Requirements

  • An experienced professional with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to concurrently manage multiple projects through completion each quarter.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and reporting on event performance.
  • Expertise in hosting and navigating both in-person and virtual events, with an innovative approach to creative, hybrid experiences and out-of-the-box ideas to engage our external providers.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • A passion and desire to transform mental healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience.
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes' commuting distance of the office.
