About the position

The Events Manager at Frontline Education is responsible for leading and transforming the event strategy to enhance customer experience, brand reputation, and business growth. This role involves developing a scalable event strategy, executing various events, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The Events Manager will also focus on thought leadership opportunities, cross-functional collaboration, and optimizing customer experiences through events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evolve a scalable and measurable event strategy that drives customer experience (CX), retention, growth, and brand reputation.
  • Lead and execute Frontline's owned conferences and user group events, ensuring alignment with broader business goals beyond demand generation.
  • Establish a proactive process for identifying, securing, and executing speaking opportunities to position Frontline as a thought leader in K-12 education technology.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success organizations to drive the event selection, execution, and evaluation process.
  • Create consistent, high-impact customer experiences at events to enhance brand awareness and drive pipeline generation.
  • Lead the Events Team and oversee all event logistics, including location selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, and timeline management.
  • Leverage KPIs to measure the success and impact of the events program on customer experience, retention, and growth.
  • Proactively collaborate with Partner and Association leaders to integrate partner relationships into the event strategy.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of event details, performance, and historical data to guide future event strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure all events are planned and executed within the allocated budget.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives, with a focus on engaging customers and managing complex projects.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leading teams or projects, with a demonstrated ability to build and guide a high-performing team.
  • Strong event management skills, including logistics, contract negotiation, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in using KPIs to track event performance and ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of successfully managing internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in coordinating conferences, trade shows, or other special events is preferred.
  • Ability and confidence to drive transformation and change.
  • Ability to drive thought leadership initiatives through strategic speaking opportunities and event engagement.
  • Expertise in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align event efforts with growth and retention strategies.
