About the position

The Events Manager at Ubisoft will oversee the execution of live and virtual events for the Global Publishing Events department. This role involves managing worldwide event strategies, budgets, and operations, ensuring that events meet their objectives and provide engaging experiences for global audiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong event management skills, creativity, and exceptional organizational abilities, along with excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as global events lead overseeing all aspects of worldwide event strategy, budgets, and operations on assigned brands.
  • Deliver top-tier live and remote experiences for global audiences that maximize engagement and meet event objectives.
  • Coordinate with global engagement hubs, cross-functional teams, brand marketing, production, and operational teams to ensure event objectives and attendee experience are achieved.
  • Develop and implement event processes and tools such as budget trackers, project timelines, production schedules, and onsite tracking documents.
  • Provide hands-on support for publishing-led NCSA events requiring live and/or virtual support, including onsite pre-production and live event management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal partners.
  • Conduct post-event reporting and tracking for ROI analysis.
  • Support additional events for publishing teams such as FWD, Gamescom, and other global initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of event management and/or trade show experience with a proven track record of managing experiential events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing complex logistics and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong budget management experience to keep project scope and stakeholders aligned.
  • Highly effective communication skills to deliver information concisely across various groups.
  • Experience in managing vendors, people, equipment, and timelines.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
