About the position
The Events Marketing Internship at Kitty Hawk Kites offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in marketing and event planning. Interns will be involved in various aspects of the marketing program, focusing on promoting events and engaging with the community. This role is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in a college program related to marketing or events planning and are eager to learn and contribute to the company's marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run Kids' days each week with guidance from the Events Coordinator.
- Present unique ideas to promote events and attract visitors.
- Assist in the weekly distribution of KHK marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other businesses.
- Complete other assigned projects.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a college program focusing on Marketing, Events Planning, or a related field.
- 0 - 2 years of related marketing experience.
- Customer service experience, communications, social media, or office experience preferred.
Nice-to-haves
