About the position

The Events Marketing Manager at Dynasty Financial Partners is responsible for supporting the Marketing & Community Events team by managing and executing high-quality experiential events for independent financial advisors. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance the Dynasty Network's brand and facilitate networking opportunities, education events, and strategic alliances. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for event marketing and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and exciting events and experiences through research and budget analysis.
  • Own and maintain the conference/events calendar, tracking against budget, KPIs, and goals.
  • Manage and run events from conception to reconciliation, including attendee management for events ranging from 25 to 1000+ people.
  • Facilitate logistics for all conferences/events, including attendee lists, booth needs, swag, and presentation materials.
  • Communicate with internal attendees before, during, and after each event, ensuring external attendees receive necessary information and materials.
  • Conduct post-event surveys and debriefs with the internal team.
  • Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on event/conference days in collaboration with the SVP of Community.
  • Maintain swag inventory, brainstorm new ideas, and track against budget and inventory.
  • Research and select venues for smaller, intimate dinners and execute on-site.
  • Coordinate with event sponsors on contractual agreements and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience on brand or agency side
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Client-focused with the ability to recognize and respond to the needs of clients
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for marketing events and new technology platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
