About the position

The Events Marketing Sr Associate will support event execution for the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business, leveraging strong event execution experience to develop marketing tactics, goals, and objectives. This role involves managing event logistics and collaborating closely with various teams to meet client and prospect needs, ensuring high-quality execution of events for affluent and high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall event planning logistics from start to finish, serving as the main contact for booking speakers, venues, and creating menus.
  • Oversee registration processes including website development and maintenance, and client communications such as invites and event reporting.
  • Collect post-event client identification and analytics to understand program impacts on business goals.
  • Manage team operations including budget maintenance, processing invoices, and tracking expenses.
  • Support vendor management by onboarding and managing relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Document team processes as they become established.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed events calendar in collaboration with other event teams.
  • Manage and develop event registration tools and platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and execution, including vendor contract negotiations.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale and smaller-scale events for affluent and high-net-worth clients.
  • Extensive experience running virtual events and working with production and online companies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a passion for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Discretion around private client information is essential.
  • Ability to think and react quickly during event execution and work fluidly when overseeing events.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and beyond traditional business hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
